| MEMBERSHIP |

Our organization strength comes from the active participation of our members. In addition to participating in educational and informational forums designed to broaden our knowledge and understanding of our profession, members are encouraged to join a committee. Standing committees include the Program Committee, which plans and makes all arrangements for our regular and special programs, and the Membership Committee, which is responsible for all aspects of membership within our organization. Our membership period runs from September 1 through August 31. Membership is open to all persons interested in affirmative action, equal employment opportunity and related professions, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, physical or mental disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, or gender identity. Annual membership dues are $25.00 per individual and are not prorated. There are no organizational or corporate memberships. We do offer a waiver of membership dues based on a finding of financial hardship. Our meetings are held at 8:30 am on the first Thursday of each month from September through June at: East Providence City Hall 145 Taunton Avenue 3rd Floor Conference Room East Providence, RI unless otherwise noted. |
